I have have tinnitus. It is so annoying. Mine was caused from hypothyroidism. I be diagnosed and started thyroid medication and it went away. What a relief. Another form can be cause from hearing loss. An ear, nose, throat doc can check that. Also, if you own been subjected to a lot of racket, whether it be on the job (wear ear protectors to block out noise) or your music is too loud in your earpiece, or if you go to a rock concert. Those things can cause short possession or long term tinnitus. There is a product on the market call Lipoflavinoid. It was developed especially for tinnitus. I am not sure if it is a drug or a vitamin/herb supplement. Anyway you can find it in pharmacies, drug stores or on row. I have heard that it works. Good luck
