Anyone experience tinnitus while on an SSRI antidepressant?

I developed a constant ringing in both of my ears after being on Prozac for around two weeks. It sounds just like that really giant pitched noise you can hear coming from the TV when you mute the volume. Has anyone experienced this? How long did it take to jump away?
Answers:
yes it's a common complaint, we adjectives get it from time to time but it's only noticable when it get loud and then of course we focus somewhat more intently on it.

There's not a lot known nearly it some hear a buzzing sound instead of a ring, what i think it is is the regulation production and circulation of your cerebrospinal fluid. (your making brain juice).

The jowl is intricately involved in changing the internal pressures and manipulate the skull bones which influence the volume of the cranial vault, when the pressure gets low , it offset the hemodynamic pressures ballance and the choroid plexus of the lateral ventricles produce more cerebrospinal fluid from the arterial blood and the ringing you hear is kinda like a deer whistle on a car, the faster the motion the more it whistle or the louder it gets.

Eat a lot of pasta and drink greatly of water, this may help you to create more cerebrospinal fluid thus giving you smaller quantity time spent refilling your csf , less production from the ventricles, more food for the glial cell and maybe less or quieter tinnitis.

It is not a really common side effect, but it does arise with some individuals. Please talk next to the doctor who prescribed your meds; he/she may need to adjust the dosage or try another medication for you.
I have taken antidepressants for years and I have that sometimes. It never last long enough to bother me much, though. It generally last no more than 30 minutes or so. If it's really bothering you, you should tell your doctor.
