I've have it for over twenty years now...sometimes you notice that the echo is gone, but as soon as you realize this and begin to enjoy the silence you can hear it start to product its way back up to the screaming pitch it presently is surrounded by my ears.
I have tried bioflavonoids, vitamin C and B complex combinations but to no avail. I have also tried to rinse out the ear with dilute H2O2. Nothing has help. I think in my casing it is due to blocked eustachian tubes that first affected me after I went snorkelling within Jamaica way back within 1988. Water trapped in my ear canals resulted surrounded by a very painful flight home. Swallowing have never been the same since.
I had tinnitus for a while. There was zilch that helped it. It did eventually go away on its own. You can hope.
